Static segments are lists of manually added participants. You can create your static segments by moving or importing participants to the segment manually. Static segments are useful when there is a natural segmentation among your participants, such as when you have two email lists from two different departments in an organization. Participants belonging to a static segment will remain in the same specific segment as long as you do not manually remove them.
Dynamic segments are filled with participants based on conditions. For example, imagine that you receive a value if you have performed a specific task, and after completing that task, you will belong to a dynamic segment such as "All who performed the quiz". Our powerful function allows you to reuse the segment globally within the project. So, if you update the criteria for a dynamic segment, it will be updated in all places it is used simultaneously.
With Twebcast's powerful event segments feature, you can create different types of segment lists that can be reused to create event filters. This allows you to decide what each segment should experience in the event, e.g. if you have a list of VIP’s you can show certain content to them exclusively (maybe they should have more free drink tickets, or a check-in qr code to enter a specific VIP area). The possibilities are endless.
Managing your participants has never been easier. You can easily add, move or remove participants from your segments, and updates to the segments will be reflected globally throughout your project. This allows you to spend less time managing your participants and more time building a powerful and engaging experience for them.
