ATG wanted to elevate the experience around Elitloppet by creating a premium VIP concept aimed at attracting a new audience to the iconic harness racing event. To bring this vision to life, an exclusive VIP area was built at Solvalla, with ticket sales managed through Tickster.
A crucial part of the project was the seamless integration of Tickster into the overall experience. Since Solvalla already relied on Tickster as its primary ticketing system across the venue, it was important that guests could easily access their tickets directly in the custom event app, Hold Your Horses.
Through the integration, guests who purchased tickets via Tickster automatically received an email notification that their account was ready in the app. Once logged in, they could conveniently view their tickets as secure QR codes inside Hold Your Horses, which was powered by the Twebcast platform. This not only simplified the guest journey but also ensured a modern, digital first experience aligned with the exclusive feel of the VIP area.
The event also had a clear objective of attracting a younger audience to the arena. In addition, the app enabled direct communication via push notifications with visitors during the race day, something that had not been possible before, which further strengthened the overall guest experience.
The project was initiated by ATG in collaboration with B2B IT-Partner who together decided to engage Twebcast. How it works — a seamless guest experience
This integration not only improves convenience for guests but also helps organizers by streamlining access control, simplifying logistics and enabling real-time ticket status updates. If a ticket is canceled, transferred or updated in Tickster, the changes are reflected immediately inside the app, ensuring guests always have the correct access permissions and information.
A smarter, more connected event future
“This integration is a perfect example of what Twebcast was built for — tailored, interactive participant experiences,” says Axel Zaar, CPO at Twebcast. It’s about connecting the digital and physical parts of an event into one seamless journey.
