Participant API

Twebcast announces new participant API - first out, integration with tickster

Twebcast, the interactive event platform known for its ultra-low latency streaming and fully customizable participant experiences, announce a brand-new integration with the ticketing platform Tickster. This new connection makes it easier than ever for event organizers to connect ticket data with digital event experiences — giving participants direct access to their tickets inside the Twebcast app or web platform.

With this integration, guests who purchase their tickets via Tickster will automatically see their tickets securely displayed as QR codes in the Twebcast app, ready for smooth entry and convenient on-site services. It’s a powerful way to simplify guest logistics and enhance the overall event experience.

‍

How it works — a seamless guest experience

  • ticket purchase: guests buy their tickets via Tickster
  • automatic sync: twebcast regularly scans the Tickster API for new eligible ticket holders
  • participant management: new participants are automatically added to the event platform with their ticket data securely linked. An invite email with personal login details and instructions is sent out automatically
  • in-app access: once logged into the app or via a browser, participants can view their tickets as QR codes, manage their event schedule and access exclusive event features — all in one place

This integration not only improves convenience for guests but also helps organizers by streamlining access control, simplifying logistics and enabling real-time ticket status updates. If a ticket is canceled, transferred or updated in Tickster, the changes are reflected immediately inside the app, ensuring guests always have the correct access permissions and information.

‍

A smarter, more connected event future

With this new API and integration setup, organizers can fully customize the participant experience based on ticket type, event day, seating area or personal preferences. A performing artist can, for example, send personal messages to VIP guests, or use participants’ phones for interactive, immersive moments based on where they’re seated in the venue.

And this is just the beginning. The Tickster integration is the first of several planned API connections for Twebcast. Integrations for Salesforce and Zapier are already in the pipeline, with more to follow.

We’ve built the participant API to be flexible, so if you have a system you’d like us to connect to — just reach out. We’re always up for integrating smart tools that make event experiences even better.

Twebcast is a flexible, advanced platform for interactive, live and hybrid events, offering ultra-low latency streaming, dynamic participant management and powerful customization tools.
